Merbolin Anti-Soot

Definition It is an alkyd resin based, soot concealer primer developed for surfaces with stain problems such as soot and moisture, and creates a perfect surface for the topcoat.

Uses of... It is used to cover the stains that occur after nicotine, oil, pencil, soot and fire on the surfaces. It can be applied to any painted and unpainted surface.
Specifications It perfectly covers the soot and stains and prevents the stains from coming back to the surface. It is spill resistant. It increases the opacity of the water and solvent-based top coat paint applied on it and reduces its consumption.

Application 1 The surfaces to be applied must be clean, dry, free from rust and dust. Old swollen paint residues on the surface should be cleaned, local puttying and sanding should be done to eliminate the level differences on the surface.
Application 2 Merbolin Anti-Is is diluted 5 - 10% with Merbolin Rapid / Hammerton Thinner; It is applied in two coats with a brush or roller. For stubborn and difficult stains, a third layer should be applied if necessary and waiting for 2 - 3 hours to dry between layers.
Storage Conditions It should be storaged in original and closed containers at 5 - 35 °C temperatures for one year. It should be protected from extreme heat and moisture.
Important Notices

Anti-Soot must be mixed before the use.
The ambient temperature should be between 5 - 35 °C at the time of application.
Application tools must be cleaned with Merbolin Rapid/Hammerton Thinner, after the application.
After the application, the primed surface must be protected during
12 hours, from chemical and physical factors.
Primer doesn't empty into drains.
Application procedures defined above should be strictly observed.
