Application 1 |
The application surface must be sound, dry and clean. Old and blistered varnish coats should be cleaned by scratching and sandpapered. All knots on new wooden surface are burned and cleaned with Merbolin Cellulosic Thinner. The surface is saturated with Merbolin Merbotex. |
Application 2 |
Merbomarin Yacht Varnish should be applied as two or three coats, allowing a day between the coats. It is thinned with 10% Merbolin Synthetic Thinner for spraying equipment application and doesn't thin for brush or roller application. |
Storage Conditions |
It should be storaged in original and closed containers at 5 - 35 °C temperatures. It should be protected from extreme heat and moisture. |
Important Notices |
The varnish must be mixed before the use.
The ambient temperature should be between 5 - 35 °C at the time of application
Application tools must be cleaned with Merbolin Synthetic Thinner, after the application,.
After the application, the varnished surface must be protected during 3 days, from chemical and physical factors.
The varnish doesn't empty into drains.
Application procedures defined above should be strictly observed. |
