Definition	It is a epoxy resin based anticorrosive primer paint, which has two components.

Uses of...	It can be safely used on all kind of metal surface for protect against corrosion.
Specifications	Due to having anodic effect of the mettallic zinc, it has good chemical materials resistance and gives an excellent anticorrosive action. It is two component epoxy primer which prevents to becoming rust from under. When its applied 15 - 20 µ dry film thickness on surface which is suitable to weld.

Recommended wet film thickness : 40 - 80 µ Dry film thickness (one coat application) : 25 - 50 µ Drying Time (20 °C- Relative Humidity 85%) : First drying : 30 min. Drying : 1 - 2 hours, Second coat application : 10 - 12 hours, Full hardening : 7 days. Thin Down Ratio : Depending on application method; it should be thinned with Merbolin Epoxy Thinner 5 - 10% by weight.
Application 1	Sand blasting Sa 2½ or Sa 3. All application surface must be clean, dry and free from oil.
Application 2	Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer Paint and hardener components should be mixed well observe to mixing ratio. 5 - 10 minutes waited after components mixing, Merbolin Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer Paint is applied on surface with brush or airless spray gun as one or two coats, allowing 10 - 12 hours between the coats. Due to its sagging easily, the epoxy mixture mixed constantly or should be transfered container form other container.
Storage Conditions	It should be storaged in original and closed containers at 5 - 35 °C temperatures for one year. It should be protected from extreme heat and moisture.
Important Notices	Two components must be mixed well. The mixture should be prepared enough as small parts. The mixing ratio should be considered for paint wastage. The ambient temperature should be between 5 - 35 °C at the time of application Application tools must be cleaned with Merbolin Epoxy Thinner, after the application,. Paint doesn't empty into drains. Application procedures defined above should be strictly observed.
